Alot of the action to convey a life to electrical wires was conducted in 3D max. This was then brought into After Effects to add special effects such as particles and water splashing.
I explored into the idea of colour correction and adding filters onto the footage to give it a more filmistic look. To do this I used the filter Film Magic Pro

Duplicating the image and adding a gaussian blur on the original layer, then set the copy layer to multiply and the picture quality is greatly enhanced. Other post production editing such as using the curves effect and the black and white effect has also been used.
This is the final design for our interactive menu. If you scroll down you can see the first design and how this one has drastically altered. We conducted more research and came to our senses! Conducted in Photoshop but currently trying to learn some in-design. Get that industry knowledge before I get released into the world!
A few basic expressions I used for the wiggle and rotation of my assets. I could have also inserted a slider control and parented the layers to give me more freedom, however on this particular it was not neccesary. My knowledge on expressions is slowly but surely increasing!
A short video to convey hand drawn swirls. I wanted to create an animation that would help the lead from the left of the screen, gradually to the right. I will use a stroke to help animate my hand drawn swirls from one side of the screen to the other. Pace, rhythm and timing will be an important factor!
A draft design for an interactive menu which is currently being implemented for the navigation screen within a Mercedes car. The menu was created in Photoshop, but I am currently in the middle of modifying it as after much consideration I did not feel the style was too appropriate. Keep posted for the final version!
